Home textile supply, worked from the cloth hall

Natural Fashion Home Limited runs six connected services from its showroom at Rm 1905 Nan Fung Centre, 264-298 Castle Peak Rd, Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong - 999077, Hong Kong (HK). Fabric bolts stand in the bays, cushion sets and curtain orders are cut on the same table, and every cloth is checked before it leaves the floor. The list below is the order in which most visits unfold, though you are free to start anywhere.

N

Fabric Bolt Bays

The bolt bays are the first stop in the hall. Cloth stands upright in open racks so that a full length can be seen at a glance, arranged by weight from light sheers at the window end to heavy upholstery cloths near the bench. Each bolt carries a number and a measured length, and when it is pulled for review the number is written on the cut sheet so the same cloth can be returned for a second opinion weeks later.

Buyers can ask for a bay of specific cloths to be set aside before a visit. Tell us the room, the light and the colour family, and the team will pull a short rack for you to work from. The bays hold natural cottons, washed linens, blended weaves and coated cloths for seating, and nothing in the rack is reserved for trade buyers alone. A single metre order is a normal request here.

F

Cushion Set Runs

Cushion sets are cut in short runs beside the bolt bays. A run begins with the sofa or chair in front of the cutter: seat depth, back height and the shape of the corner decide how the cover is cut, how the piping is set and how much ease is left at the closing seam. We cut cushion covers as sets rather than single pieces so the repeat and the pile direction stay consistent across the group.

Insert size, filling density and closure method are discussed at the table. Zipped closures, envelope backs and piped edges are all cut on site, and the covers are labelled for the room they belong to before they are packed. Replacement covers for a single worn cushion are accepted, provided the cloth is still in the bay or a close match can be found in the standing stock.

H

Curtain Order Desks

The curtain order desk turns a window measure into a cut list. Width, drop, heading style, lining and fullness are agreed at the desk, then the cut list is checked against the bolt length before the cloth is moved to the table. Curtain orders from the Tsuen Wan showroom are cut from the same bolt you saw in the bay, so a sample square and the finished drop always agree.

We work with pencil pleat, eyelet, tab top and wave headings, and we advise on lining where a bedroom or a west facing window needs it. Multi window orders are laid out room by room, with each drop labelled and packed separately. If a window needs a very long drop, the desk will confirm join placement before cutting so the seam falls where you want it rather than where the bolt happens to end.

Swatch Review Windows

A swatch review window is a short open period when the coming season sample cards are laid out on the long table. New cards are checked against the standing bolts first, so the swatches on display are cloths that can actually be ordered rather than aspirational squares. Buyers are welcome to bring a paint chip, a floor sample or a photograph and set it beside the swatch under the showroom light.

The window usually runs for a few days, and the team will note which swatches drew attention so the bays can be restocked accordingly. Nothing at the review is a pressure sale; the point is to let a household see a season before it is committed to a bolt. Dates are announced by email to anyone who asks to be told, and a short call to +13317161528 will confirm the current window.

U

Upholstery Fabric Checks

Upholstery cloth is checked on the bench before it is released to a frame. The check looks at weave density, seam slippage, surface wear and the way the cloth behaves when pulled across a curve. These are simple bench tests, done with the same tools for every order, and the result is recorded against the bolt number so a later order from the same cloth starts from a known position.

When a cloth does not pass, it is retired from the bay rather than sold with a warning. That decision is sometimes unpopular with buyers who have already fallen for a colour, so the team will always offer a close alternative from the standing rack. Heavy use seating, headboards and benches are the usual candidates for this check, and the result is explained in plain language at the table.

S

Season Look Sittings

A season look sitting brings the other services together. A curtain cloth, a cushion run and an upholstery cloth are laid side by side so a room can be read as one composition. The sitting is a conversation at the table rather than a catalogue page, and the mix that results belongs to the buyer, including the photographs taken during the visit.

Sittings are useful when several rooms are being furnished at once, or when a small studio needs a consistent palette across a project. We keep a written record of the cloths used so a later room can be matched to an earlier one. Book a sitting by writing to tech@gtompsx.buzz with a short note on the rooms involved and the visit can be prepared before you arrive.

How an order moves through the hall

One, the rack

Bolts are pulled from the bays and draped on the table so the full length and the fall of the cloth can be judged.

Two, the table

Measures are taken against the chalk grid, the pattern is laid, and the cut list is written before anything is cut.

Three, the desk

Cushion sets and curtain orders are labelled by room, packed separately and checked against the cut sheet.

Four, the bench

Upholstery cloth is bench tested and the result recorded against the bolt number before release to the frame.
